Pastor David Elzie Norman was born January 7, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a lifetime member of The Greater Bethlehem Temple Church, Cincinnati, OH where his grandfather, the late Bishop Elzie W. Young (Former Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Church of the Apostolic Faith - PCAF) served faithfully as Pastor until his passing.

 

He is the son of the late Bishop Walter A. Jones Jr. and Mother Ruth E. Jones, founders of The Greater Bethlehem Temple Church in Columbus, Ohio.

Pastor Norman is a fourth generation preacher of the Apostles doctrine. He was called to ministry in 1994. In November 1996, he was ordained as an Elder by the late Bishop Stanley Halton (Former Presiding Bishop of The True Churches of the Apostolic Faith - TCAF). In 2000, he was promoted to District Elder of the Eastern States for the TCAF and served as Chairman of the Convention Planning Committee. In 2016, Pastor Norman and The GBT congregation united with the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF).

 

For seven years, Pastor Norman served as the Assistant Pastor of The Greater Bethlehem Temple Church of Columbus. After the passing of the founder, Bishop Walter A. Jones, he was installed as Senior Pastor on January 14, 2006. Prior to his call to the preaching ministry, Pastor Norman served as Sunday School Teacher, Youth Chairman, Choir President and Head Drummer. Pastor Norman has been married to the love of his life Annie L. Norman since November 27, 1982 and is father of one son, David Fluellen.

 

His Motto: "The Most Important Thing in the World to God...Is YOU!"

Scripture of Affirmation: Romans 5:8 - "But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Annie L. Norman was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  She was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received the Holy Ghost at Calvary Apostolic Church under the pastorate of the late Pastor James Steward. Teacher Norman later moved her membership to the Greater Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church (GBTC), under the pastorate of the late Bishop Walter Jones, where she has been a member for over 40 years.

 

Under the ministry of the late Bishop Walter Jones, - whose motto was “truth, more truth and nothing but the truth”, constrained by the love of God for his creation (St. John 3:16), Teacher Norman blossomed developing a love for the word of God and she excelled in the understanding the word. Teacher Norman is humbled to be chosen by God to teach His word. As an ambassador for Christ, she is committed to the ministry of reconciliation, encouraging men and women everywhere to come and Experience the Kingdom.

 

Teacher Annie Norman is a licensed minister and her current responsibilities include:

 

  • First Lady of The Greater Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church

  • Member of The Greater Bethlehem Temple Ministerial Staff

  • Certified Sunday School Teacher (8/5/1985 Completed Teacher's Training Course offered by the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF)

  • Coordinator of the Women’s Ministry

  • Facilitates the Thru-the-Bible Class

One of her favorite scriptures is Colossians 1:28-29, which states: "Whom we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.  Where unto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily".

 

Teacher Norman is married to District Elder David E. Norman, the Pastor of the Greater Bethlehem Temple Church of the Apostolic faith. They have been married for 35 years and have one son, David Fluellen.
